CSB Boise Employees Help Package Meals for 9,767 Idahoans
On the evening of August 7th, 35 CSB associates volunteered to pack food at the Idaho Foodbank Distribution Center for a couple of hours after work. This was CSB’s Second Annual Volunteer Event at the Idaho Foodbank packaging food for the charity to provide to Idaho families in need. As this team demonstrated in 2018, we set a new record for a volunteer group assisting the Idaho Foodbank.
“We can’t thank you enough for the support Craig Stein Beverage gives to us at The Idaho Foodbank. We are grateful to have CSB as a partner as we work to provide hunger relief and support the health of so many people across our state.
As we discussed last night, your group surpassed our expectations! In just two hours you labelled 10,504 pounds of canned vegetables and bagged over 1,216 pounds of fresh vegetables. This equates to 9,767 meals for hungry Idahoans,” said Jane McLaughlin, Volunteer Program Coordinator at the Idaho Foodbank.
On behalf of Craig Stein Beverage and Scott Norell, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, we would like to recognize our employees who volunteered to join us for this event:

The Idaho Foodbank is an independent, donor-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1984, and is the largest food bank and distributor of free food assistance in Idaho. From warehouses in Boise, Lewiston and Pocatello, the Foodbank distributes food for millions of meals each year through a network of over 400 community-based partners across the state.
We will look for another opportunity to volunteer support with the Foodbank in the future. Thank you again to those that provided their time and effort to support this local charity and Idaho families.
